Have you heard about ISACA’s update to the COBIT 5 governance framework?

ISACA has released an update to the COBIT 5 governance framework that promotes continuity between an enterprise’s IT department and overall business goals.

The framework was originally released in 1996 and has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. It provides principles, practices, analytical tools and models designed to help business and IT leaders maximize trust in, and value from, their enterprise’s information and technology assets.

“With COBIT 5 we’ve got a whole new area -- this is what governance is, this is what you and the C-suite need to be doing to drive your business information.”
-- Derek Oliver, co-chair of the COBIT 5 Task Force

As someone who has shown interest in this area in the past, I thought this would be of value to you. Discover the five principles -- and seven enablers -- the COBIT 5 framework is designed around, and how to best use COBIT 5 for IT/business alignment in your organization.

Sincerely,
